Jenna started Junior High and told me a couple weeks ago that she wanted to ride the bus and I couldn't take her to school. I reminded myself that I felt the same way when I was her age and kissed her goodbye as she walked out the door.

I was planning on giving Jacob a ride, he started 2nd grade today, but then his friend came by and he decided he wanted to ride the bus. So I gave him a kiss and sent him on his way.

Emma starts pre-school tomorrow. We'll see how that goes.
Last Thursday, Jenna had the opportunity to attend a dance clinic put on by So You Think You Can Dance. They had the four dancers who are from Utah there and Jenna was able to spend an hour with each of them. She had a great time. Her favorite dancer from the show was Chelsie so she was so excited to meet her. Here are a few pictures:

Thayne Jasperson - he's originally from Evanston. He's much younger than me but I remember his family.
Jacob had a game on Saturday. I didn't take any pictures because I was too busy yelling at the refs. They made some horrible calls. We found out that one of the refs was new and didn't really know what was going on. The other team made some really cheap shots and they didn't call anything but we got called for offsides almost every play. They are 7 years old for heaven's sake. Anyway, our defense held them most of the game. They made a lucky play and scored so we lost 0-6. Enough about that.
My cute Grandma Rex turned 91 last Wednesday. My parents took her out to dinner for her birthday. Here she is with my Dad.
This is at our reunion in July.
This is a picture of her when she was 16 - what a hottie!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA!!!
This is a picture of my niece Kailyn. I haven't seen her since last September. Isn't she a dolly. Love those big blue eyes!
There's not much else going on around here. We are going to Hawaii this week for Jimmy's family reunion. I will post pictures when we get back.
Have a great week!!

Jenna is so beautiful! Holy cow! That's so neat that she got to go to that dance thing with the contestants from sytycd!! When is their tour?
Oh and a question.... I want to get Addie in dance, she's almost 4. My options are tap, hip, hop, tumbling, ballet and creative. What would you recommend?
Hey-
Jenna looks like she's going into highschool-- not jr high!! She is sooo pretty- like her Mommy! Will you ask her to invite me to view her blog? Thanks
Okay, I had to post to give you advanced warning that the boys are going to be going crazy over Jenna, but duh you already knew that. She is GORGEOUS.
That is funny that you blog about Thayne Jasperson... his Grandparents are our home teachers!! They are the best! I can't say I remember his family in Evanston - but we sure enjoy all his Aunts, Uncles, & of course his grandparents here in GR!!
Jenna is adorable! Don't feel too bad - this was my first year I didn't take my kids to school either!! I was sad!! (But they did survive!) Hope you have a blast in Hawaii
